There are lots of ways to support pollinator conservation, the Western Bumblebee Project, and Beesearch.org.
We'll be filling this section in over the coming weeks, but here are a few things to get you started:
Keep an Eye Out For Bumblebees
Bumblebeewatch.org is a new citizen science program for tracking the location and activity of native bumblebees. Check them out!
Join the Site Monitoring Team
Our site monitoring team needs volunteers!
The site monitoring program will send observers to monitor bee activity at locations that are known to have local populations of Western Bumblebees. Watch this space for more details!
Join the Road Team
One of our volunteers may need to withdraw, so there is an opening on the road team from the end of July through the end of August or early September. If you or someone you know is interested in a once-in-a-lifetime road trip, let us know!
For the next few months, every penny donated to Beesearch.org will support the data collection efforts of the Western Bumblebee Project.
The absolute best way to support the project is through the Indiegogo page:
If you prefer, you can also donate directly via PayPal:
Thanks in advance for your support!
